Ephesians 1:3-16 says,
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One he loves. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory.”
There are 7 key points I want you to say and begin speaking in your life from the passage above. They are:
1. I am strong in spirit.
2. I am complete in Christ.
3. I have wisdom and discernment.
4. I have been set free from my past sin.
5. I am alive and forgiven.
6. I have been redeemed.
7. I have been given power and authority over the enemy.
We often hear things like, “You have everything He has.” Or, “Use what you have been given.” But, I don’t think many people realize WHAT they have been given. (I know I didn’t for many years.) You have been given spiritual powers. You are reborn into a new body and union with Christ. You don’t have to beg God for the things He has already given you. You simply need to understand what you have been given and then begin to live them out in your life. Here are some areas to meditate on:
By the words you speak.
By the way you live your life.
By having only one God in your life.
By believing and understanding that He’s not late on His promises for you.
By knowing that if it’s not good then it’s not the end.
By understanding that He doesn’t give bad reports, the enemy does.
By believing you are not weak, but strong.
Our foundation comes from God’s word. No matter what the scale says, how we feel about what we see in the mirror, or what our symptoms are trying to say to us — we can look to His word and understand all that we have been given. You are a daughter regardless of your looks or your performance. You are a daughter to the King and an heir to the crown.
Here’s your assignment. From the 7 key points above, I want you to ask yourself this question,
“What’s stopping me from living this Truth?”
Journal it all.
What lies have you believed?
Remember, the enemy is a master deceiver and a manipulator of God’s word. So, if you find yourself questioning the Truth, know it’s probably the enemy trying to keep you from being in union with Christ fully.
I’m rooting for you,
