Have you ever felt like you weren’t good enough? Are there moments where you feel like you don’t measure up? Join me as I discuss today’s lie, I’m not good enough. There’s so much truth we need to remember about who we are in Christ.
Key points from today’s lie:
The feelings of not being good enough are real but they are not the truth.
The lie I’m not good enough is focused on self. If self is our lord and we put our trust in self then panic enters when situations arise.
I talk about Paul’s life in regards to how he wasn’t concerned with how fancy he looked. He knew he may not look the part but he knew the Word inside of him was truly the only thing that mattered. He wanted people to know it wasn’t about him and all that he had done. It was about God who was working on in and through Him.
Paul even addresses his own character and how he looked. Which reminds us today, appearance has nothing to do with being good enough.
Paul was a real person with real emotions. The changed lives of the people he ministered to was the fruit of his ministry.
Let’s pay attention to the fruit we are producing in people’s lives more than we are concerned about ourselves.
